I witnessed the disappearance of Cold War sites and facilities with military functions spread across urban environments, as they have been subject to transformation or demolition due to the development of urban planning, without achieving historical significance or discourse. My project aims to visualize the strange objects created by the collision of urban development and military ideology by reproducing the massive concrete of the tank barriers in the border areas affected by urban development. These barriers, once symbols of military defense, have transformed into symbols of urban decay, covered with paint or turned into giant billboards for the glorification of the city, viewed through the lens of capitalist urbanism. The value of these memorial objects has disappeared, leaving behind only the negative images ingrained in the minds of past generations, blending into an ambiguous state of existence.
