<오브젝트_붕괴>는 미 2사단 캠프그리브스 장교숙소에 설치 된 작품이다. 작품이 설치된 공간은 ‘관광지화’라는 명목아래 곤돌라 설치 예정을 두고 죽음으로부터 잠시 유예 된 곳이다. 다가 올 공간의 죽음을 함께 하는 대형 설치 작업은 우리에게 익숙한 재난의 순간을 떠올리게 한다. 설치물 표면에 등장한 “나 니들 시러”의 문구는 2014년 국회의사당 낙서테러를 차용하였다. 테러의 목적과 상관 없이 싫어하는 대상으로 ‘너’의 모호함으로 끊임없는 부정의 도마에 오르기도 하였다. 이 문구는 공간이 가진 역사적 사건과 의미는 새로운 이데올로기로 인해 붕괴 되어버리는 그 지점을 표현한 설치 작품과 함께 재현된다.

The artwork <Object_Collapse> is installed in the lodging facilities of the U.S. 2nd Division Camp Greaves. The space where the artwork is installed is a temporarily spared location under the pretext of being transformed into a 'tourist attraction,' with plans to install a carousel, delaying its inevitable fate of transformation into death. The large-scale installation, shared in the imminent death of the upcoming space, evokes moments of familiar disasters. The phrase "나 니들 시러" (I hate you all), appearing on the surface of the installation, is borrowed from the graffiti terrorism incident at the National Assembly Building in 2014. Regardless of the purpose of the terrorism, it has been continuously placed on the chopping block of negation as a disliked subject due to the ambiguity of 'you.' This phrase, along with the installation artwork expressing the point where the historical events and meanings inherent in the space collapse due to new ideologies, is recreated.
